Scott McFarland - President/Owner Basement Services 911
Scott is a graduated from Dickinson College in 1981 with degrees in History and Geology. In 1985 Scott got his FAA Post-Grad Engineering at P.S.U. Scott was a member/captain of a National Championship Basketball Team, 1978-1981.
Scott has 29 years of experience in the general construction field. He is an active member of FAA and NAWSRC, as well as various Chambers of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
Scott started Basement Services 911 in 2001, ironically in the basement of his home. Today it is a 4 state respected organization with multiple offices. With his multiple areas of training, he has worlds of experience in all phases of basement issues. Having built over a hundred buildings and complexes he has seen any problem that you could have in your foundation.
Home Inspector John L. Parks
Out of New England College in New Hampshire, John Parks applies his collegiate rugby expertise by diving into his basement inspections with enthusiasm.
John is only one of a few Certified Waterproofing Specialist (CWS) in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The requirements for a CWS certification are stringent. John’s background in the industry began as a laborer and quickly became a crew leader leading to managing and owning his own subcontracting business.
As a full time employee of Basement Services 911, Inc John resides in Montgomery County and stays active in the community. Boy Scout Troop 178 Boasts John Parks as an Eagle Scout and Former Assistant Scout Master.
Home Inspector John Harte
When it comes to customer satisfaction there is no stronger advocate for a Basement Services 911 customer than John Harte. On site, John traces all elements that may be leading to a mold, mildew or water problem. Once the cause is defined John is solutions driven.
After several successful years in home addition and remodeling sales, John returned to work with Scott McFarland in 2008. “There is no better mentor in construction than Scott” John says. “I learned a great deal from him in the early 90’s when I ran commercial construction crew. He always encouraged me to take on new opportunities along the way.”
John broadened his education at Temple University and has certifications in Network Engineering, Data Communications and is certified in HVAC. John and his family reside in Plymouth Meeting.
Inspector Frank Frye
Frank’s diverse professional background makes him a great addition to the Basement Services 911 Sales Team.
Frank enjoyed ten successful years in Residential Mortgage Loan Sales following his tenure as a General Manager of LA Fitness Sports Clubs in the Philadelphia region.
Frank brings a health conscious attitude to all of his inspections. Customer concerns of long term mold issues in their homes are quickly relieved after an inspection by Frank Frye followed up with a Basement Services 911 solution.
Inspector George W. Baxter
For over 25 years George Baxter successfully owned and managed several gasoline and convenience stores throughout North Jersey.
His “the customer is always right” attitude comes from servicing the public 24 hours a day seven days a week. With several years as a government employee, George is a stickler for detail when it comes to meeting customers’ expectations.
After receiving in home sales training with Owens Corning, George joined the Basement Services 911 team this past year. His knowledge of North Jersey allowed this professional to hit the ground running and the result has been many dry basement system installations.
Inspector Gary Witt
A Sales Professional with over 25 years experience in satisfying consumers. Gary has a diverse background that includes experience in the food industry, new home sales and in-home security design.A Marlton New Jersey resident, Gary is an expert in providing Basement Services 911 customers with waterproofing system designs and creative financing packages. To quote a satisfied customer “Mr. Witt is a true expert in working with homeowners. He answered all of our questions and checked in several times to make sure we were happy and our basement was dry.”
